Warrior Mom BattalionOne of the best ways to take action is to join Postpartum Progress’ Warrior Mom Battalion. The battalion is our core group of advocates across the globe who care about maternal mental health and want to raise awareness, combat stigma and make sure women get the help and support they need and deserve. All you have to do is fill out this form. It’s completely free, and you get to decide how much or how little you’d like to be involved.

If you’d like to speak publicly, or write a letter to the editor, or write a blog post, or help us raise money, or reach out with a kind word to a mom who is struggling, or participate in our events … whatever your interest, the place to get involved is the Warrior Mom Battalion!!

Baby Steps (3)

At minimum, Warrior Mom Battalion members receive a monthly awareness message they can share to their social media accounts — Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest — through our Baby Steps program. It’s a great way to spread the message of help and hope to moms who need it.

Share your story with us so another mom can see she’s not alone. Email it to us and we’ll consider publishing it here at Meet the Warrior Moms! Make sure it’s around 600-800 words.

Add your gorgeous face to the Warrior Moms Photo Album, featuring survivors of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Every photo helps combat the negative images about PPD shown in the media. Just email us a jpeg at!

If you host a support group, make sure we know about it so we can list it in our resources.
