Postpartum Progress partners with leading academic research institutions to identify questions that mean most to women with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and to help find the answers. We believe that while much has been invested in research over the last two decades into postpartum depression’s risk factors, identification and treatment, mothers have seen little impact on the ground, where it matters. We’re interested in changing that by working only on research projects where moms have an equal seat at the table and their needs and concerns are represented. Where they have input on the questions asked, how the research is conducted, and how it is disseminated. We also serve as the consumer marketing and patient recruitment arm on large patient-centered research projects.
