Donor Privacy Policy

Postpartum Progress truly values its donors — you are the reason we are able to exist as an organization and raise awareness of maternal mental health. To protect the privacy of our donors, we maintain the following policies:

We may request personal information online, such as name, address, phone number, email address and credit card number only for the purposes of accepting donations or for the purchase of admission to special events. We will not release or use this information for any other purpose unless we have the donor’s consent.

We do not trade or sell donors’ personal information with other organizations.

We offer donors the option to be recognized anonymously.

Donors may request to not receive mailings or email communications from Postpartum Progress. If at any time a donor would like to opt out of mailings of any kind, please contact us at help@postpartumprogress.org. Any requests to update, correct or remove personal information from our database will be acted on within 48 business hours of the request.

Postpartum Progress’ online giving pages and processes are provided by our vendors Network for Good and Crowdrise/We Pay. When making a donation online, donors will be asked to provide their name, contact information and credit card billing information. All of this information is encrypted using SSL, an industry standard secure technology. This encryption is designed to prevent theft or interception of the information provided.

All information associated with a donor’s use of Network for Good to donate to Postpartum Progress will be handled in accordance with the terms of the Network for Good Privacy Policy. When donating using Network for Good to process a donation, the donor agrees to the Network for Good Terms of Use.

When donating to Postpartum Progress through Crowdrise, the donation will be processed by WePay, a credit card processor. All information associated with the donor’s use of WePay will be handled in accordance with the terms of the WePay Privacy Policy. When donate through Crowdrise and using WePay to process the donation, you agree to the WePay Terms of Service. Here, also, is the Crowdrise Privacy Policy.
